Specifically made for the Kindle Colorsoft and Signature Edition (2024 or 2025 editions) with wireless charging (supported) Protect your Kindle Colorsoft with our handmade leather case. We make these cases by hand in our Portland OR studio. Each piece of leather is carefully selected and then cut exactly to the shape of your device with laser precision. Your tablet cover is then stitched, molded, hammered and burnished by hand. Our craftspeople pay special attention to each step of the process to ensure that your case is perfect.

JBeautiful Craftsmanship and Easy to Customize!I purchased this Hand and Hide leather cover in red for the new version of my Kindle Paperwhite. The outside is incredibly nice and smooth, and the entire case has a very sturdy, high-quality feel. While it doesn’t natively support the automatic wake-up function, I was able to solve that by sliding a small magnet inside the pocket. I had to buy a bundle pack of magnets from the store for about $23 since they didn’t sell them individually, I placed the magnet inside a sturdy plastic pocket before sliding it into the pocket of the kindle cover. Now it opens and closes perfectly, unlocking my Kindle automatically without needing to press the power button-and completely scratch-free! To make it even more comfortable for my daily use, I bougt a strap from Hobby Lobby. I made a long version that goes over the inside of the Kindle and wraps securely around the device in the central section of the cover, but it can easily be taken off whenever I want. When it is wrapped around, it allows me to hold the Kindle like a purse, making it incredibly easy to grab the entire Kindle securely by the strap. I really wish Hand and Hide would make a nice, thin matching strap that goes with this cover, but I am not entirely sure if they do make. Still, It is a fantastic, premium case that handles these personal touches beautifully. I am so incredibly impressed by the exceptional quality and beautiful material of this cover. Because of their amazing craftsmanship, I just placed and order for their 15-inch MacBook cover in brown, and I am really looking forward to getting that one soon! PS: My only regret is that I didn’t get my Kindle cover engraved! I wasn’t entirely sure how I would like it at first, so I skipped the customization, but now I whish I had done it. However, I made sure to request a beautiful engraving for my upcoming MacBook cover! Thank you hand AND hide staff for making it possible for us.
