    superlative craftsmanship and usability with clever design.

    This was a great phone case, top quality materials and construction as always. The leather is stiff but pliable, you don't want it to be without give so that the tension of the case can keep the phone in an optimal viewing position as I explain below.

    The button is very cleverly constructed so that when you are not using the phone the case remains in place while in a pocket in a normal closed position. The case is flexible enough however that you can undo the button from a closed position, open the case fully and bend it behind the phone, so that the card slots are facing outward behind the phone, button the case in that position, and then rest the phone horizontally on the inner spine of the case on any flat surface for a perfect angle for viewing your favorite show/movie/etc. This was a very well thought out and practical design. Not too bulky, great hand feel, and I know that in a few months the leather will be soft and pliable but still firm enough to protect the phone and work as a "stand" like I describe above.

    I was fortunate enough to buy one of their men's wallets that I have used day in day out for years now, and it has become buttery smooth to the touch without losing its ability to hold cards etc. and I base my confidence in their build on that experience as well as the previous cases I have bought over the years.

    Very glad to have this American company that takes pride in its craft. It is getting harder to find a good leather product made in the USA.
